Nexstar4 Problem

Hello Gents
I have this Nexstar 4 for a few years. I have to precise that it was never dropped or bumped and is used on a few occasions and is kept in its original box and packing.
Two nights ago after observing the moon eclipse I noticed some thing was rattling inside,I have now a piece of gasket stuck to the top lense and a plastic bolt( I think) floating in the tube.
Now is there anyway I can open the top part of the tube and reposition the loose part.
Thank you for any help or suggestion
Patrick
