My new batteries for my Celestron Ultima 8 (pre PEC) finally came in but I've misplaced my battery hookup sheet I made when I unhooked the leads from the batteries. I think I know what they should be but if someone can verify it, I'd appreciate it. Mine takes two 'D' type cells each having two prongs for the leads to slide on.

I'm thinking the batteries are in series so:

Red lead goes on positive of cell 1
Black lead goes on Negative of cell 2
pigtail end goes on negative of cell 1
pigtail base (the pigtail and this are joined together in the base lead) goes on positive of cell 2.

Thanks
