Trouble Seeing Anything With 114GT

Hi,

I recently bought the 114GT. I was hoping to get a good look at mars, but about all I get is a brighter light. It looks about the same through binoculars. Can't even tell its a planet. I am using a 25 and 10 power eyepiece that came with the scope. The 10 makes things a little better but not much. I checked the manual. About all they had to say was check the colmination, which looked fine based on looking through eyepiece tube as they suggest.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tom
