I just purchased a Celestron G-8 telescope with a CG-5 German Equatorial Mount. The book talks about being able to attach the OTA to a photographic tripod, but I do not seem to have been shipped the parts for this. Could someone please tell me what I need? (A drawing or photo would be even better.) The OTA has the Dovetail slide bar attached to it and it mounts on the Equatorial mount just fine, but I would also like to use it on the photo tripod for some daytime viewing.
