Can anyone help with a critical decision ? I am having enormous trouble deciding between a purchase of the Meade LX200 GPS 12" or Celestron's Nexstar 11 GPS. I have had different views expressed to me by different dealers and I've now read as many reviews as I can find.

I live in the Cayman Islands, so the air is humdid. Does that make a difference ?

Which scope is more reliable ? Is the $1,000 difference in price justified ?

What are the essential and desirable accessories to order on initial purchase of the scope ?

Would appreciate your views !
