C-14 Compustar Serial Port

It seems you are missing the Compustar power module "blackbox" which interfaces the Compustar display panel to the C-14 itself.

I would suggest going to:

They had a "Compustar Powermodule 12VDC Blackbox w/fan: Celest 8/11/14 Scts." for sale.
