I am involved in a research project at my university, and we need a camera to perform multiple functions. We're looking for a camera that:
can bin up to a pixel size of ~20-25 um,
has a QE peak around 520 nm,
full well per pixel >50,000 e- (~70,000 binned),
good dynamic range,
near-real-time read out to computer (~1 sec lag, preferably linux compatable),
all for a cost of no more than ~$2500.

New, the cameras I have found meeting these specs go for around $6000-$8000. I was wondering if there is a place to go to find second hand ccds, or if anyone could give me any leads.

Thanks,

Justin
