I think I'vd found what I need, provided by Celestron. Their name for it is a 'tele-extender', & apparently it slides over an eyepeice & then you can mount various cameras on top of that. Spent a bit of time on the web searching for info on this style of imaging, & if I've got my facts straight, its 'eyepiece projection' or 'afocal' imaging. Maybe won't yield quite the highest quality images, but should keep me busy for a few.
The only thing I've found is some inconsistency on the focus setting on the camera. Of all the info I found, none of them reference my particular camera, but I'm not surprised by this; how many hundred brand/model cameras exist? But what I have noticed is that there seems to be some differing on whether to use the camera at the infinity focal length, or on macro mode. If anyone has an idea on this, I'm open to suggestions!
