Santa is a good listener & gave me a Celestron G5 (5" f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain) telescope for Christmas, & despite the incredible light coming from the moon this week, has shown me stunning views of Saturn with its rings (did I really see a shadow of the rings across the face of the planet?), & Jupiter with its moons & spot, & the nebula off Orion's belt. It's been a long time since I've had a decent telescope, & I'm psyched to get back into things!
