: One of Einstein's theories are that nothing can go faster than the speed of light. The force that sucks light back into a black hole can go as fast as the speed of light...but no faster...therefore...light is not sucked back in...not travels outside of the blackhole realm.. it merely stays there hanging in the middle, therefore no one outside the black hole can see the light. --this is one theory about the black hole i read in this book a few days ago.
