Well, what I was trying to say was that, it was in the future that you either were or were not going to pick up that cup. If somehow you could lool into the future without being able to affect what you saw there in any way, then you would be able to see whether you picked the cup up or if there was an earthquake that caused you to forget about picking up the cup. And then you have the universes upon universes of alternate possibilities, each differing from another by maybee only a sneeze or a cough. Of course, I have no hard evidence to back up my claims, and i could be wrong, but nobody accepted quantum mechanics when it was first developed, either. Oh, well. But there is another universe where I didn't bother to write back to you like this, and that universe is reserved just for that difference in actions. Just like if you had there are different timelines, or dimensions, whatever you want to all them, for whether you typed a perfect response to the original message, or whether you misplaced one single period. And each of these universes has its own future, which has always existed, and its own past, with a sequence of events not quite like that that unfolds anywhere else, in any other dimension. And what about those poor souls whose arrow of time is pointing opposite from yours? The ones whose consciousness is traveling "backwards" in time? Are you saying that they don't really exist? A prophet.. ok, not a prophet, just a really funny author, named Douglas Adams once had one of the characters in his book say "i think, therefore I am." Well, why shoiuldn't it apply to those going backwards through time? And if our pst is etched in stone, I hope you agree that we haven't noticed it changing around lately, then shouldn't our future be likewise, since the only difference between them is a person's perspective?
