Well, by basically dramatically bending space-time. I have kinda explained it a bit in my other message of a few days ago......a bit lower on the page. By bending space-time you can "trick" the universe into thinking your not actually going faster than the speed of light, when in fact you actually are. It's kinda like a jet engine, only instead of gas and air being burned and shot out the back, space-time is focused and shot out the back.
