Nice reply. 'Couldn't have explained it as eloquently myself. But one thing: in quantum mechanics (my favorite field of all!) scientists have discovered wave/particle duality. This states that light sometimes behaves like a wave and sometimes like a particle (a photon), and thus has the characteristics of both. In this way, light and matter are one and the same thing, though you are correct in that light has laws of motion far different from matter. |
