I hear there's been quite a debate on the possibilities of so called "naked singularities", for those who have not heard of naked singularities let me explain, singularities have only been found to exist in a clothed state, in other words as ppart of a black hole, the pressence of the black hole prevents us from observing the singularity. A naked singularity then is one which is not "clothed by a black hole. I remember hearing something about naked singularities as a theoretical possibility, some info please? |
