Space is 1-Dimensional. We can use 3-dimensional mathematics to draw it.

We dont know; How big is it? Ww dont know; How form born?

We dont know; Why space, matter, form, beings.

We dont know; What form atom has?

How do we can say, space is?

This is scientific view.

That is the reason, why i ask; What is basic off all.
