Quote from Robert Kunzig's article on "Black Holes Spin?" the July 2002 issue of Discovery:

"Think of a black hole not simply as a place where gravity is extremely strong but as a place where the fabric of space-time is being pulled continiously into the hole"

This was said by physicist Mitchell Begelman the University of Colorado, who goes on:

"Space is not just sitting there stationary outdise the hole. It's always being stretched and pulled into the hole."

This thinking comes from observations of the spinning black hole in MCG-6-30-15.

Hope this finally resolves our long standing dispute on the absorption of space by black holes. The scientific community seems to agree with me.

Regards,

Richard
