Maybe it does not have to be a star, maybe a car, hat, pen, anything. What I want to know is...Looking at an object that is 1 ly, 5 ly, 10 Million ly, or even 15 Billion ly away. Light still travels at the same speed. In the time it takes for the light to reach us the object will have move (with space). Now IF you snap your fingers and you were transported, that second, to the object you were looking at. Would you be at that object or would it be...I guess for lack of a better term, in the future?
