Wanna see, how our Milky Way galaxy crashes into Andromeda in about 4 billion years from now? Nice simulation is available as a movie in:

http://www.cita.utoronto.ca/~dubinski/merger/bigmerger.html

Download the movie, enlarge it to the full screen (from player menu) and enjoy!. Milky way is the smaller galaxy in the movie (it is 2-3 times less massive than the Andromeda). Notice how many stars will be spilled around during and afer collapse.

I am curious what happens to our galactic black holes? To Earth if Sun gets ejected (probably nothing)? To Earth is Sun will be thrown via the dense center of Andromeda galaxy?
