: What is the strongest evidence that would support the existance of massive black holes at the centers of galaxies?

A good place to start is the Hubble Space Telescope home page at http://oposite.stsci.edu. The hubble has found several candidates for massice balck hole. The center our our galaxy shows a large volume of gas moving about a central massive object, consistent with a large Black Hole.

  • Hubble see a rare warped disk at a Galaxies core
