You've made several statements concerning what science can and cannot explain. It appears to me that you really havn't looked for scientific explanations. They do exist and a simple hurestic explanation for what you mentioned science could not explain in the above post can be found around page 349 of Kip Thorne's 'Black Holes & Time Warps'. Kip is an expert on such stuff. Good book, fun to read and chock full of explanations which you think don't exist.
