wow. on the surface that seemed like a 'long' post, but actually - and i'm not kidding or being facetious or anything here - actually you somehow managed to get volumes into a mere handful of paragraphs. that was really interesting, much food for thought, and i must say i wish my dad was alive to read it because i think he'd appreciate how you expressed all that, too. i hope as i develop my writing skills i can be as vivid and brief as that. pretty powerful. i couldn't begin to prove or disprove, not having all that experience or knowledge, but i found the train of thought easy to follow (pretty good compliment, given the long sentences. STILL, though...). that was really an interesting way of looking at things!
