By definition the GUT is a Grand Unified Theory-A speculative class of theories of particle interactions which attempt to describe EM, weak interactions and strong interactions in a fully unified theory.
Unified field theory is the type which attempts to incorporate gravity, such as string theory.
Interestingly enough Guth applied Einstein's equations to his quantum field (false vacuum) to see what would happen if the gravitational pressure term was great enough to cause the field to inflate rather than contract.
