Richard, I guess special relativity is just useless rhetoric, then. My point is that there is no central frame of reference form which to say an event happened. 3 minutes to me and 3 minutes to you ARE be different lengths of time, even if we both had a nuclear clock. That's because we are moving at different velocities through space-time. If you don't believe me, go to a book store and buy "The Elegant Universe" by Brian Green for $15.00 or $22.50 if you live in Canada. |
