Well kind of... Einstein said that curved space time accounts for the behavior of some things, (planets rotating a star) But to my knowledge he never explained wht things get pulled towards mass, and why gravity increases with mass.
Light is a pocket of energy, there for just like matter. But since its mass does not become infinite at the speed of light it is obviously differnet from matter in some ways.
