Hi Virginia,
Did you find any more about that new black hole ? The best I could find was some info on what is being termed a middle sized black hole. For an image and short description with lots`o`links, click here.

There also seems to be some imaging evidence of a black hole not associated with a star or galaxzy center.

There is an image of what is so far the closest candidate for a black hole

Maybe every galaxzy has a black hole at the center.
