Light In Orbit? Singularity=end Of Universe?

1. I wonder if light itself orbits around a black hole. Wouldn`t the perimiter/event horizon of a black hole contain photons orbiting at the speed of light?

2. The effect of the singularity on a falling object: I`m not convinced that a spectator`s perspective of an object slowing down as it reaches the horizon is purely an optical illusion. Doesn`t the singularity warp time enough that you actually reach the end of the universe -- or the entropic demise of the black hole -- at r=0/t=0, (whichever comes first)?
