It depends on how much mass it has. (I don`t have the formulas handy.) If it is above a certain critical amount, it will, otherwise not. However, if in the course of time enough stuff falls onto a neutron star (gravity is pretty strong), it could eventually accumulate enough mass to become a black hole. |
