This would mean that the star would be ablaze whith light because evrery direct line of sight would fall upon the surface of a star.

What I meant was that black holes colliding are what cause the bangs, I did not mean all matter in the universe, only that which is within the range of these black holes while they form and travel toward eachother, when they collide, bang!
