I don`t really know any of the math necessary to completely understand the Riemann metric and all that, but I have been trying to understand GR for a while now. How can the metric add to zero and there still be an acceleration? Is this for the case where two objects start out stationary relative to each other, and if so, how do they end up being forced into a shortest path which leads them together? |
