re - The don't always cause electron decay, but they generally do enter the nucleus. As you just learned in your web search on electron decay part of the electron clowd does overlap the nucleus. Your the one who came here to flame me. Go away. Umm! I don't think so zc. That's pretty standard quantum mechanics. This is covered at both the undergrad and grad level. Because the probability distribution overlaps the nucleus doesn't mean it's captured. So what othere things that I know are you going to try to explain to me? Why do you find it so hard to not flame someone By the way. I didn't follow you anywhere - care to tell me who you are claiming to be?
