| How Do We Measure Long Distances?

I cannot understand, how space-scientist, can measure long distances? SP=senderplanet LI=lightinformation RP=receiverplanet. SP send LI. RP receice this LI. How RP can knows-says, How long LI was travell at space? What is size of SP? I dont understand, how we can says, that space is some size, and it is start Big-Bang, and it is exploding. Dont give me answer, Red-shift. Wave cannot exist without matter. Still wondering? I think, that we dont know much, how big space is, or how it is started. We are going some kind of strange direction, which is not natural-thing. --------------------
