: I am working on the math to prove new ideas about space-time. It would be really helpful if I knew the mininum mass required to form a black hole, and what the radius of that black hole would be. If there is a deffinite answer to this question, please email me with it. Thanks. Black holes forming from stellar collapse require at least around 2 solar masses. In other words about twice the mass of the sun.
