: Please show me how Schwarzschild derived Rs=2GM/c^2. Thank you. Lau: I've derived the solution of Schwarzschild's radius problem previously and posted on my page. There seem some problem with my background file so it doesnt come out and at the moment, it is a bit difficult to read. You can view it off line in your hard drive with background color changed to black. I'll try to fix up the problem as soon as I possibly can. Anyway there's more than one method of determining the Schwarzschild's radius. You can also use the kinetic energy method to find it for example. For now my homepage is still under construction so you can view the rest later, and if possible can you give me any suggestions on my page through email pls. Thanks. Here is the add. for Rs http://student.uq.edu.au/~s802301/maths/rs.html
