The event horizon is the distance from a black hole where the escape velocity is equal to the speed of light. Once inside this point, an object or particle cannot escape from the gravitational pull of the black hole. The event horizon forms a sphere around the black hole and represents a region of space that is essentially cut off from the rest of the universe. : whast is the "even horizon???
