If you're still reading through this group scott, then picture it like this. Imagine you had a small sphere that was surounded by a liquid that got increasingly dense the closer it got to the surface of the sphere. At the sphere's surface there is an infinitesimally small gap between space and the singularity. This should help you if you have a strong enough imagination. |
