The equation I gave is good for more than just neutron stars. The same would go for the mass density r except that its being approximated by an ideal fluid. : : But isn't that double counting? You take the curvature caused by the mass and increase it because of the pressure caused by the mass.

This isn't always necessary, but it can be done this way. So what? Convergent infinite series solutions are no big deal.
