: I am doing a big grad standard in our science class. My subject is black holes. We have been discussing them in class and I waz wondering if it is true that scientists were debating weather or not black holes exhisted? And another question I had was what would it be like to travel in one, and if we ever would have enough techknowolgy to go into one and come out alive?

: Sincerely There appears to be strong observational evidence of the existence of black holes (see "Black Holes and Time Warps" by Kip Thorne, et al). Current theory says that going into a black hole is a one way trip, and that it is fundamental, not technological. : Amber
