Why are you (ZC) trying to force this into a 'local' discussion? Everybody here, I think, is quite aware of this particular aspect, and its bearing, or lack of, on the question at hand. Your assertions amount to : tidal forces/accelerations "don't exist" if your apparatus isn't sensitive enough to measure them over some (possibly tiny) period of time and spatial extent. |
