: Yes it does, at the same rate it orbits the earth. In other words, for each trip around the earth, it also rotates once on its axis. That is why we only see one side of it from earth. It gives the illusion that it is not rotating.

But, it dont rotate, round of it's own center, like earth does do.

But.

What is weight of moon?, or earth, or sun?
