Z.C. Are you working in, or following string theory? If so, what is your general opinion of its future prospects in bringing about a unified theory?

Have a look around Dept of Applied Maths and Theoretical Physics, Cambridge, home of Prof S. Hawking, for a very brief description of M-Brane theories. You can also try Queen Mary and Westfield College, home of Mike Green, founder of string theory and Superstring home page
