: Hi my name is Kristina. I am 13 years old and I go to Seirra Vista JHS. I am doing a science project and I was wondering if there really are Black Holes. I heard there were and that some scientists believe that there are. I would really appreciate it if you could send me an answer by Thursday, Octorber 28, 1999. : Thank you for your cooperation. : Kristina Turrentine The theory behind black holes is Einstein's General Relativity. Although their actual existence is uncertain, there is strong evidence from astronomical observations of phenomena resulting from black holes. |
