: Would it be possible to have an event horizon where the forces are similar to earth's gravity??ie not deadly.

A black hole with a mass equal to that of earth would not be so extremely small. The size of its event horizon would be 0.9 cm in radius. If you wanted to survive the crossing over of the event horizon, then it would have to be a much bigger more massive hole.
