Its a mathematical surface at which remote observer's coordinate are not good enough coordinates to enable them to observe an object crossing through. It is really a problem with the coordinates only. Because of infinities that arise in equations described by these bad coordinates it is described as a coordinate singularity instead of a physical singularity. |
