: What would happen if the theoretical tachyon came into contact with a blackhole? It should be able to escape if it collided with the event horizon....(acording to my thoughts)

RD: Tachyons exist inside the membrane (ie. singularity) of a black hole and cannot penetrate it. The event horizon cannot be collided with as there is nothing there but empty space. It's just that the space is moving towards the singularity at the speed of light at the event horizon. If something could go faster than the speed of light like a tachyon or a virtual particle, it would escape the black hole.
