: If you hovered just outside the EH would you be able to : see infinite time pass for the rest of the universe? well... it depends who you ask. if me, you say? well, because a BH is finite in coordinate time, I would say no, that one could not "see" infinite time pass. However, in a classical model of the BH, it would seem to be the case. Or at least one would witness the death of the universe. But there is an individual here that knows more about light cone geometery that would imply that one would not be able to view the outside universe as one got exponentially closer to the EH. |
