where are you establishing the EH? If you are establishing the EH from an outside FOR, then it depends on the actual size of the schwartzchild radius in how much it distorts a body locally entering the EH.

Ideally the individual would not notice any dissapearance from his inertial FOR, but as he approached the singularity he would notice his feet becoming exponentially dimmed, red shifted and stretched in the direction of motion towards the singularity. (keep in mind at this point the individual is beyond the EH that was observed by an outside FOR; also keep in mind that an EH is frame dependant, i.e. relative to the observer.)
