Are Black Holes Really Black?

Most models show black holes almost having gravitational pull at the poles. Is this true? If a sphere would have gravitational pull from all of its surface as the earth and all known planets do, what would the model look like. If the light from a black hole can only be seen at the event horizon and given the gravitational pull of the singularity is from all of the surface, would the light from the event horizon be seen as a light ball instead of a black hole? |
