image time as a line of happenings, if you would travel to an other point on that line like to a point earlier then were you are, then this point will be copied and will become a new time line. So this means you are not any more in your own world but you created a whole new.In this way you can't travel back in time and kill your parents, so you wouldn't be born to kill your parents before you were born.
