: DO YOU BELIVE THAT CREATION STARTED BY GOD OR THE BIG BANG THEORY? : STEPHEN HAWKING THINKS THAT THE UNIVERSE HAD NO BEGGING AND WILL HAVE NO END.(BUT HE IS STUDING WITH THE ATOMS.) : IF YOU WANT MY OPINION I THINK GOD CREATED EVERYTHING AND HE CAN ALLWAYS DO WITH IT AS HE PLEASES.SO IF HE WANTS THE WORLD TO END HE WILL END IT. : AND IF HE WANTS TO MAKE A DERMATIC CHANGE HE WILL DO SO. There has been much debate about God as the creator of our universe, and "how". In the defense of the pro-God theorists (I am an agnostic, thank you :), it can be argued that scientists cannot really see the "signature" of God within his handiwork for the simple reason that they are within it as well. As St. Augustine put it, God's view is from "nowhen" -- something that is admittedly difficult to process in the human mind. This idea was put forward in the book "Time's Arrow" -- the name eludes me right now. Thank you for your time and consideration in reading this. |
