: E=mc2 describes the energy of a mass. Since massless particles have no mass, that formula can not be applied. Remember, relativity is a classic theory-- it does not incorporate quantum mechanics->which has to be used to describe and explain singular particles. All massless particles are singular, meaning they have no volume in space. |
